Empyrean Lost
Empyrean Lost by Ryder Ruilyn is a 3D linear animation about a boy who dreams of a lost love. Structured as a journey, the boy travels through surreal and uncanny dreamlands created using Cinema 4D. Animated in a subtle pastel palette combined with special effects, the protagonist in Empyrean Lost learns to release his love and overcome heartbreak. As a narrative centered on a painful yet universal emotion, this animation speaks to the path we must all travel to rediscover personal harmony after a lost love.
Homosexual Culture
The project is mainly themed by the issues related with homosexuality. It studies through three directions: sexual orientation, sexual safety and sexual behavior and presents in a form of handbook. Meanwhile, it also aims at developing a smart condom based on the study of sexual safety to provide users a new experience. Thus, production design, package design and APP UI design are involved in the project. The APP visual design emphasizes the pleasant interactive experience brought by dynamic effect.
ORPHEUS
In recent years, as the occurrence rate of violent events increases rapidly, everyone is just like a bulged balloon, a little irritation can make it explored. Many kinds of factors create negative emotion and make it rush into the depth of people's heart. However, releasing negative emotion in a wrong way can also cause irreparable damage to people themselves and others. Therefore, based on the reflection of the abreaction and release of negative emotion, I studied emotion through three directions: the before stage of emotion production, the persistence of emotion and the release of emotion.
